How do I set up a reminder service?

  • After a patient agrees to receive reminders at their randomization visit (or at any point after their randomization visit), a site coordinator can sign up each subject in the mPal system. They simply need to add the subject, enter the subject ID and mobile phone number, select the protocol schedule (which is pre-determined according to the protocol), update any known visit dates, and save. Unless a subject opts to stop messaging, reminders will be provided automatically from that point on until the study is complete.
  • The site coordinator will have continued access to the subject’s reminder schedule.
